Celebrating International Day of Happiness as a global community

"This International Day of Happiness is more than just a fun celebration, it also reminds us all that the world is a better place when we connect with and care about the people around us” - Dr Mark Williamson, Co-Founder and Director of Action for Happiness (March 2015).
Celebrated for the first time in 2013, the UN International Day of Happiness represents progress across the globe in recognising that happiness and wellbeing should play a more significant role in our lives. This matters now more than ever as we continue to face a global health crisis and as many of us surpass a year since lockdown restrictions began.
Study Group takes great pride in connecting students from around the world together as one global community. Our students continue to display strong resilience and have a positive outlook despite the challenges they face. In celebration of this event, we thought it was fitting to focus on our students by asking them 'what makes them happy'.
