Global international education provider Study Group invests in strategic leadership

International education provider Study Group has announced the appointment of a new Director of Global Product Strategy. Kelly Lickley will join Study Group this month as a new member of the company’s Senior Leadership and Growth Enablement teams.

Global Chief Executive Emma Lancaster describes the appointment as an investment in the company’s future and a sign of its confidence in the international education sector beyond the pandemic.

“We are delighted to announce this important appointment and I’m very much looking forward to working with Kelly Lickley and our wider team to shape our strategy for high quality and innovative international education.

"Kelly has an impressive background in product strategy and development but we were also impressed by her collaborative mindset and experience in leading cross functional teams to deliver significant benefits to partners and customers, as well as revenue and growth.

“Kelly also joins our team at a crucial time in which Study Group is determined to work with our university partners to be at the leading edge of a new era of international education. This will naturally mean working with our in-house EdTech expertise around digital education with highly-respected academics such as Dr David LeFevre, with colleagues who have a deep understanding of education policy and opportunities, as well as responding to the insights of our extensive network of staff in recruitment markets and of international students themselves.

"We are delighted to be able to draw on the abilities and energy of such a strong team, and I know Kelly will add to that.”

Kelly is an MBA graduate from Cranfield who began her career as an investment strategist before moving into product development. She has recently held senior product roles at Pearson and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
