New international student route opened by The University of Exeter and Study Group’s Bellerbys College

The University of Exeter has signed a conditional progression agreement with Study Group’s Bellerbys College. The partnership recognises the high-quality pathways offered by Bellerbys. Bellerbys now has partnerships with seven universities ranked in the top 20 of The Times Good University Guide 2021, including Durham University, the University of Bath and the University of Bristol.

Bellerbys Foundation students on nine subject pathway courses offered by the college will now be able to receive conditional offers for specific degrees at The University of Exeter, subject to a UCAS application. This includes applicants to science and pharmacy – Exeter is ranked 29th in the world on the CWTS Leiden Ranking, which offers key insights into the scientific performance of more than 1000 major universities worldwide.

The following pathways are on offer:

  • Business, Finance and Management (3-term)
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Computing
  • Engineering
  • International Relations and Politics
  • Law
  • Marketing
  • Science and Pharmacy
  • Social Sciences

They will be on offer from the academic year 2021/22.

Dr Mark Cunnington, Chief Operating Officer - UK and EU for Study Group, notes:

“We are thrilled to offer our students the chance to attend one of the best universities in the UK, the University of Exeter. It has everything - world-class teaching, a proven track record of fantastic student support and employment opportunities, with 90 percent of alumni in, or due to start employment, or further study, fifteen months after graduation. Our well-prepared students will enrich the university and the community they become part of, making it an ideal partnership."

Peter Clack, Director of Exeter Global, University of Exeter, says:

“For many years we have enjoyed a strong relationship with Bellerbys Colleges that has seen us welcome many of their students to our campuses in the South West. We are now delighted to strengthen that relationship further by becoming a Conditional Progression Partner. This partnership is in recognition of the high-quality pathways offered by Bellerbys and we very much look forward to welcoming many more of their students to our growing community of over 6,500 international students at the University of Exeter.”

The University of Exeter is a leading Russell Group higher education institution, ranked in the top 20 in the most recent national league tables including The Times Good University Guide and The Guardian’s Best UK Universities.
