Study Group named Education Investor Awards 2021: Pathway Provider of the Year

Study Group has been named Pathway Provider of the Year

Securing the top place in the prestigious Pathway Company of the Year category showed recognition of Study Group’s outstanding responsiveness to the needs of university partners and students.

Study Group’s online education specialist platform Insendi were also selected as a finalist in the Education Software provider category for providing transformational learning experiences in a pandemic, supporting the digital aspirations of universities and offering a tailored, supportive approach for each partner.

Responding to the award, CEO Emma Lancaster said,

We are delighted that Education Investor has acknowledged the achievement of Study Group during a most challenging time for international education globally. The impact of the pandemic and related travel restrictions has marked a rapid development in how we think about and deliver education globally, but I am extremely proud that my colleagues have risen to this challenge in such an impressive way.

By putting the needs of students and our university partners to the fore, we have continued our strategy of providing high-quality, personalised and blended learning, which enables outstanding levels of progression to higher education and employment and satisfaction from our students. We have also developed new models of in-country learning, teaching, assessment and study support which we know will be part of international education beyond COVID-19. In that sense, we have used this difficult period as an opportunity to also learn and innovate.

Innovations recognised by the Education Investor Awards included:

  • New enhanced, blended and digital programmes of higher education preparation, study skills and academic English language in key disciplines such as Business, Engineering and Medicine.
  • Co-creating bespoke digital programmes of higher and executive education with top-ranked institutions, such as the University of Oxford, John Hopkins University, ETH Zürich and Imperial College London, via our Insendi EdTech experts.
  • Remote delivery in key international student recruitment source markets such as China, using channels as diverse as WeWork and Airbnb to enrich the integrative learning experience.
  • Developing new partnerships with rapid implementation to meet the needs of universities.
  • Pioneering a new employability framework to equip learners with the professional capabilities and experience to stand out in an increasingly competitive job market.
