University of Stirling signs five-year renewal with insendi, a Study Group Company

We are pleased to announce the five-year renewal of our partnership with the University of Stirling, through Study Group company insendi, our online education experts.

As one of the UK’s top higher education institutions, the University of Stirling has demonstrated its commitment to providing innovative, high-quality digital education programmes through its continued collaboration with insendi.

Insendi is ideally positioned to support the University’s ambitions, including the significant expansion of its online portfolio over the next four years. Since the partnership was established in 2019, insendi has worked closely with the University of Stirling Management School (SMS) to develop and deliver an MSc in Data Science for Business and is currently supporting the development of an online version of the new breed of bespoke MBA.

Professor Kevin Grant, Dean of SMS, said: “Insendi distinguishes itself through its high-tech, high-touch approach. We value the personalisation that insendi offers the students, as well as the ability to unbundle and diversify the curriculum, which empowers us as educators.”

Professor Neville Wylie, Deputy Principal (Internationalisation), agreed, saying: “We are delighted to renew our agreement and reaffirm our partnership with insendi. This relationship sits at the core of our online strategy, and we look forward to working with our colleagues in insendi over the coming years.”

Plans are underway to include three Masters degree programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Business Scale-Up and Sustainability Impact as part of the expansion of the platform. As with Stirling’s other programmes on the insendi platform, there will be options to unbundle and offer the MSc courses as standalone modules. Previous modules from the MSc have been offered to partners in the insendi network, and to students under the highly-regarded Scottish Funding Council upskilling scheme, facilitating widening access initiatives and benefitting learners from all walks of life.

The news was warmly welcomed by the Chief Executive of Study Group, Emma Lancaster, who commented, “We are delighted that the University of Stirling is renewing its partnership with insendi and that our expert teams will be working with the University’s academic leaders to offer innovative, high-quality digital education to students.

“The plans under active development are genuinely exciting and respond to the ambitions of students around the world to engage with academic content online in a high-quality way. We are particularly pleased that this will include such important topics as Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability Impact, with an ability to offer specific MSc courses as standalone modules, and we look forward to strengthening our collaboration even further over the years to come.”
